What is 9th Class Math?

There are seventeen chapters in this course which are briefly described in the course book in both boards. In this course students have to learn completely basic level of Math. Each chapter consists on complete information. Student will have to learn from definition to all formulas covering algebra, logarithms and many more pertaining to this subject. Here is the course of all chapters:

·         Algebraic expressions and algebraic

·         Algebraic manipulation

·         Linear equations and inequalities

·         Linear graphs and their application

·         Introduction to coordinate geometry

Paper Pattern of 9th Class Mathematics for Punjab Board Students

In Punjab board total marks of this subject are Seventy five (75). There are Two Portion of this course including Subjective and Objective. The objective portion consists on fifteen (15) marks which have to be attempted in twenty Minutes. You will have to fill a circle on bubble sheet according to your answer.

Subjective part comprises most of the marks of this course. First part of subjective includes short questions and second part includes long questions. The short questions are further divided into three Sub Sections. In every sub section there are (9) nine Question and student has to attempt any six Questions. Each question carries equal (2) two Marks per Question.

In the second part there are five Long Questions and each long question has Two Sub questions of Four Marks. Student has to attempt any three questions. There may sometimes also appear a compulsory question.

 

·         Objective type (MCQs)         = 15 marks

·         Short Questions  section (1)   = 12 marks

·         Short Questions section (2)    = 12 marks

·         Short Questions section (3)    = 12 marks

·         Subjective type (Long Qs)     = 24 marks

·         Total marks                                = 75 marks

Paper Pattern of the 9th Mathematics for Federal Board

The entire exam of Mathematics of 9th class has Three Section A, B, and C.

Section A

There are given 15 Multiple Choice Questions in Section A and student has to answer these all for 15 Marks. You will only be given 15 – 20 minutes to solve this portion.

Section B

The next section is B, which is consists on Short Type of Question. There are 18 eighteen short Type of questions and every student has to attempt to any 12 twelve questions and each question contains three marks. Each questions carries 3 marks.

Section C

The Section C consists of Long Questions. In this section there are total seven Questions while student has to attempt three questions. Each question has 8 eight Marks. Similarly there are total 60 marks of the Subjective portion; 36 marks from Section B and 24 marks from the Section C.

·         Subjective type (Long Qs)   = 24 marks
