FSc Part 2 - English Book Two
Syllabus of second year English is divided into three major categories; Book Two, Mr. Chips and Grammar. There are 10 short lessons and 5 Heroes (lessons about famous people) in Book Two. 2nd year English contains 100 marks. 30 – 36 marks are covered from Book Two. Book Two is 1/3rd of entire English syllabus.

Who Should Study this Course?
This course is included in the syllabus of all intermediate students of 2nd in Year in Punjab. Book Two is made a part of 2nd year English syllabus in all boards in the province of Punjab including Federal Board. . English is a compulsory subject for all programs. Every student who is studying 2nd year English in Punjab or Federal Board has to study and learn Book Two to cover complete syllabus. This article covers:

What is Book Two?
Book 2 is one of the three major portions of 2nd year English syllabus. There 10 short essay lessons and 5 Heroes in this book. All these stories also have exercise and questions. We will find these lessons very informative not only for English language but also for general knowledge. In these essays, students learn the proper of writing of an article, use of punctuation and words. It also helps student understand the format of writing an article or self-made essay or chapter.
Synonyms and short questions are also included in your paper from within the lessons. Students must read and understand the whole chapter so they can answer any question asked from it.
Paper Pattern and Attempting Method from Book Two for Punjab Board
Book 2 is one of three sections. Book Two covers 30 marks in exam. There will come 2 different types of questions in paper from Book Two.

2. Synonyms as MCQs
1 - Questions from Book 2:
There will be a Question number 2 with 9 questions from Short Lesson of Book Two. You will have to write answers of 6 questions. Each question contains 2 marks.
In Question number 3 in your English paper there will be 8 questions from Heroes of Book Two. You have to answer 6 questions. Each question of 2 marks.
In short, there is a total of 24 marks from questions of Book 2 given in Question Number 2 and 3 on paper.
2 - Synonyms as MCQs from Book 2:
These MCQs from Book Two will cover 6 marks from a total of 20 marks in complete MCQs section. There won’t be question about the essay but only synonyms. 3 of the MCQs will be from Short lessons and 3 MCQs will be from Heroes.
Paper Pattern and Attempting Method from Book Two for Federal Board
Book 2 is one of three sections. Book Two covers from 33 -36 marks in exam. There will come 2 different types of questions in paper from Book Two.

1 - Questions from Book 2:
Question number 2 in English paper with 10 questions from Short Lesson and Heroes of Book Two. Student will have to attempt answers to 7 questions. Each answer is of 4 marks.
How to Attempt Questions?
For 2 marks, complete your answer within 40 – 50 words. It will make your paper look nice and easily understandable. Make sure you make no grammatical or spelling mistake or wander off the point. Questions in Federal Board exam are usually from inside the chapter so student must have self-writing skills to attempt them.
2 - MCQs from Book 2:
These MCQs from Book Two will cover 5 - 8 marks from a total of 20 marks in complete MCQs section. In all these MCQs from Book Two, there will be questions about the lessons. They may ask to fill the missing word, select name of the writer for a given lesson or some sort of date. There is hardly 1 synonym asked in MCQs section of Federal Board English exam. In addition, there will be one or two extra questions on choosing right spelling of a given word.
Why Study this Course?
There are Short essay Lesson and stories of Heroes in Book 2 of second year English taught in Punjab. Each story and essay also gives us a good moral lesson. There is also motivations for students in the stories of Heroes. This whole syllabus is taught by professional and experienced teacher. If you work hard enough, it is possible to get over 90% marks just by studying with these lectures without joining any academy or college.
