This instructor is a practical Joker. You can't count leaves on trees in a forest! Really? Why the hell not? One can't also count hair on one's head! Really? Both objects can be counted with sufficient accuracy. She fails to distinguish between counting and measuring. Even if leaves fall off, the fact that they were once connected to the trees serves our objective. Both examples quoted are wrong. I'll say she hardly knows physics better than a 9th grader. She needs replacing.
